Brittany Boegel began her teaching career at St. Columbkille School in Los Angeles, California, where she taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math for three years. She is excited to continue her teaching career at Minneapolis Academy.

Brittany’s education began in the Wayzata School district, which led her to the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota. At St. Ben’s, Brittany studied Elementary Education with a focus in middle school mathematics and a minor in Spanish.

After graduating from St. Ben’s, Brittany journeyed to Los Angeles to join PLACE Corps. While in PLACE Corps, Brittany received her Masters in Literacy at Loyola Marymount University.

In her spare time, Brittany loves to be outside. She enjoys running, swimming, reading, and solving puzzles.

Philosophy

The Academy's philosophy is not simply that all children can learn, but more importantly that all children will learn. There are no shortcuts to academic success and no excuses for failing to achieve it. Together, students, parents, and teachers will create a culture of achievement and success.

The Academy prepares its graduates to live thoughtful and purposeful lives equipped with the tools to engage successfully in their own "pursuit of happiness," thereby contributing greatly to the good of their communities and their families.
