Phillip Ehresmann - Math
Email: Phillip Ehresmann
Mr. Ehresmann began teaching at Minneapolis Academy in Summer 2011.
Before that he had been living and working in the Twin Cities for eight years as a teacher, tutor, and soccer referee.
The majority of his experience is in working with 6th, 9th, and 12th grade students, but he really prefers working with middle schoolers because of their creativity and energy, qualities he believes are essential to being a good mathematician.
Mr. Ehresmann grew up in Northfield, MN, lived abroad in Portoviejo, Ecuador as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student, and was an undergraduate at Grinnell College before transferring to the University of Minnesota. He was an anthropology and mathematics major before he transitioned into education.
When he is not teaching Mr. Ehresmann prefers spending time with his wife, biking, reading, playing games, and listening to music.
